A bit about me: My name is Rovina, but you can call me Rovie. I'm 19, and currently live in Melbourne, Australia.
I'm currently studying Communication Design (basically a fancy name for graphic design + some extras). However, my true passion is illustration and art. I love drawing, and can often be found obsessing over art-related things.
Aside from art, you'll find that I'm also rather obsessed with fantasy - especially Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. ..actually I'm obsessed with quite a lot of things XD

A bit about my journal: My journal is FO because I want to know who's actually reading it and such. It's not that interesting really. I mainly write about stuff around me -- school, interesting sites I find, and enless obsessing over all the things mentioned above :D I also post photos and art from time to time.

LOL Um.. random much?
Anyways. Yay for 2007.
I'm glad to say I spent the first day of the year in a semi-productive way. ..well, more productive than usual anyway XD I made.. A LAYOUT. Hm, it was kinda spontaneous, I was like "oooh old books. ...I'll scan them & make a layout!: XD It's about the only creative thing I've done (apart from the masses of LotR graphics) this holidays. Look at it & tell me if it works? Are the colours really screwed up? *evil stare at Photoshop*. Grrrr... 2007 should be an interesting year. Uni. Hmmm. While I am still excited about it, I'm also starting to get a little.. scared. I still can't believe it. :D
Saturday I'm going on a mini-roadtrip with .. well, I don't really know who yet, Chloe is orgnising it, but a lot of my friends are on holidays, so I'm not sure who's coming ..or really what's happening at all XD
Anyhows, I hope everyone had a nice new years (eve)/are recovering from hangovers & such :D

Yesterday's Bio class was hilarious. We were testing the effectiveness of antibiotics on bacteria, so everything had to be sterilized etc.
We had tweezers in a beaker of ethanol. Then later, my friend cas used it on the Bunsen Burner, so there was a small flame on it, she thought it went out & put the tweezers back in the beaker. ....& then the whole beaker of ethanol...caught fire. She's like "oh nah..it'll burn itself out..." LMAO, while the other peeps on our bench were all freaking out. So THEN she decides to pour it into the sink....at which point the whole sink caught fire. Luckily it went out 'cos she turned the water on. The sieve that was next to the sink was all melted, so we...stole that. XD
I know it sounds kinda dangerous, and it was, but it's funny now that I look back on it. The teacher didn't even notice, she was on the other side of the room. Then the people on the bench next to us was like "did you guys burn something". LOL.
PS: Bacteriophage is a funny word :D

In other news, exams are soon ._. Viscom due in 2 weeks. Went to TopArts 2005 on Tuesday....HA I really need to work on my art folio more.
THANK YOU all who replied & helped with my last entry :D I still can't decide. Today I asked my Viscom teacher, but she's...let's just say clueless & didn't give me any good answers. I plan on asking my art teacher tomorrow.
I had something else to say but I can't remember.
*sleeps*
I need more sleep.

If I were in a Hogwarts house, based on my personality etc, what house d'you reckon I'd be in? I can't decide. I can't say I really relate to any of the houses.
